This is a 9-month non-tenure-track instructor faculty position in the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences in the LSU College of Agriculture (COA) located in Baton Rouge, LA. This faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, track student performance for assessment, recruit, mentor, and advise students, along with providing service to the department, college, and university. The courses taught by this instructor may include, but are not limited to: Lifecycle Nutrition, Contemporary Topics in Nutrition, Introduction to Nutritional Sciences, and Nutrition and Diseases.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree, Registered Dietitian, and established college-level teaching record as instructor or above; evidence of teaching excellence, and undergraduate level advising. Must have completed at least 18 hours of graduate level nutrition courses.
