Southeast La VA Healthcare System is hiring for a Clinical Dietitian.
Responsibilities: Outpt clinical dietitian wanted for full-time practice in our Hammond outpt clinic, 40 hrs per week. There is the opportunity to build one’s own clinic to include all facets of nutrition therapy (except for parenteral nutrition, done by NOLA CNSC’s), to include women’s health, MNT, lifestyle modification, diabetes, cardiovascular health. Pts seen by referral or self-scheduling, or as walk-ins per staff or pt request if appt slots are available, or to at least to get the ball rolling. We haven’t had an RD in Hammond since the pandemic started, and this clinic and geographic area is growing by leaps and bounds, with an entire new clinic facility planned within the next few years.
