Position Requirements

Our healthcare business is hiring immediately for a Registered Dietitian that will work 8-12 hours a week at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center. Position Summary: Registered Dietitian Identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals’ nutritional status and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. Will provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff or consultants. Will follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements. Minimum Requirements: · Completed a bachelor’s degree at a US regionally accredited university or college by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) · Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) · Knowledgeable with assessing and Medical Nutrition Therapy with all levels of care and disease states. · Proficient with Electronic charting, Microsoft office, as well as web-based programs Cura Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer. Position Requirements

Possession of a permanent Louisiana Dietitian/Nutritionist License plus two years of professional level experience in public health nutrition or dietetics in a clinical or hospital setting.

Substitutions:
A Master’s Degree in nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition, food systems management, institutional management, public health, public administration or management will substitute for one year of the required experience.
OR
A PhD in nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition, food systems management, institutional management, public health, public administration or management will substitute for the two years of required experience.
